Enrico Mariotti
Enrico started cutting hair 44 years ago as a teenager in Carpegna, Italy. What began as curiosity became a career that took him to the runways of Milan, Paris, and New York — 17 years of international fashion, averaging 45 to 50 shows per season.
He styled for Balenciaga. For Chanel, Versace, Gucci, Prada, Cavalli, Calvin Klein, Ferragamo, Perry Ellis, Marc Jacobs, Donna Karan, Sonia Rykiel, Yamamoto, Blumarine, Alberta Ferretti, and many other brands. His work appeared in Vogue, Marie Claire, L'Officiel, Harper's Bazaar, Icon Magazine, and many other international publications. Enrico was also the official hairstylist for Pantene in Italy for ten years, including television commercials. He was represented by See Management, Art Department in NYC, and The Green Apple in Milano — some of the most respected agencies in the industry.
That fashion knowledge doesn’t stay with Enrico alone. He passes it on to every member of his team — the technique, the vision, the standard. When you sit in any chair at Land of Barbers, you’re getting the benefit of 44 years of craft.
Then he came home. Back to Greenpoint — a neighborhood that reminded him of the small-town Italy where he grew up. A place where people greet each other on the street.
I still do fashion — I bring the idea of fashion to my clients' look.
